In Japanese, the word for shapeshifter is "bakemono" (化け物) or "a thing that changes." Bakemono are the traditional monsters of Japan and a class of yokai that can shapeshift. While developing our visual art for the album, we drew inspiration from The Bakemono Zukushi "Monster" Scrolls, which were painted during Japan's Edo period. This image, shot by our drummer/photographer Mogli Maureal, was inspired by a painting of the bakemono Uwan, who was known to find its home in abandoned places ;)
Our demon girl is DTG printed in gorgeous detail onto the front of this soft cotton T-shirt and doesn't have that hard/plasticky feel.
Color: Black; Material: Ringspun Cotton T-Shirt; Sizing/Style: Men's contemporary, see sizing chart for details.
